China continues to improve its economy

In the third quarter of 2020, China's GDP grew by 4.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Earlier, China's GDP grew by 3.2 percent in the second quarter. However, China's GDP fell 6.8 percent in the first quarter. Despite the economic downturn in the first quarter due to Corona epidemic, China's economy has continued to improve since then.

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics (NOS) on Monday, China's economy grew 0.7 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2020. As of September, China's exports had grown by 9.9 percent and imports by 13.2 percent.

According to analysts, recent rise in China's domestic consumption has had a positive effect on the economy. Yoshihiko Simamin, chief economist at a research institute in Tokyo, said: "China's economy is on the path to recovery due to the significant growth in exports.
