Approval for educational institutions to conduct examinations

As Corona's infection grows, government has allowed all exams to be conducted.

At a press conference held on Wednesday to make public the decision of cabinet held on Monday, government spokesperson Pradip Gyawali said that all educational institutions have been given in-principle consent to conduct the examination following all the standards of public health.

Similarly, cabinet meeting has formed a recommendation committee to elect the chairperson of Teachers Service Commission.

Gyawali informed that a three-member recommendation committee comprising the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University and Secretary of Ministry of Education has been formed under the chairmanship of Public Service Fire.

Council of Ministers has also decided to start the process of filling up the posts of the employees of National Examination Board. Gyawali informed that it has also been decided to amend the order to form an infrastructure development committee at Madan Bhandari University.

The meeting also decided to appoint and promote unpaid consuls in different countries. Spokesperson Gyawali said that the meeting also decided to approve the organizational structure of President's Office and Darwandi Terij.

Gyawali said that meeting has also decided to approve the temporary posts of five official level employees of Advertising Board for the fiscal year 077/78 BS.

At the press conference, spokesperson Gyawali urged to be on high alert as Kathmandu Valley is at risk of corona infection. Spokesperson Gyawali said that special vigilance should be taken as Dashain and Tihar are approaching.

Spokesperson Gyawali said that there is a high possibility of recurrence of corona infection as people go to villages from Kathmandu to celebrate the festival and then return to Kathmandu.

Stating that the risk of corona infection is the same, Minister Gyawali said that it would be appropriate to take blessings from a distance this time.
