Pillar no. 11 between Nepal-China border- thought to have been lost- found

The border pillar rumored to have been lost has been found. It was found in Taku Lek above Lamkha Gaonpalika of Humla.

The border inspection team led by CDO Chiranjibi Giri found the pillar. It was established in 2019 when the border between Nepal and China was demarcated.

The team including the CDO had travelled there after Armed Police responsible for border security reported that the pillar was not found. The pillar was found where it was assumed to be.

China has built 11 buildings in Lolungjong of Lapcha Valley. Locals have been claiming that area to belong to Nepal. China has been claiming it to their land.

The found pillar is at a height of 5220 meters above sea level.
