Omni Business Corporate International (OBCI) has been blacklisted for one year for its involvement in the purchase of controversial health items.
Office of Public Procurement Monitoring has published a notice blacklisting Omni Group from participating in other procurement processes for one year.
The blacklisted Omni Group will no longer be allowed to participate in any procurement and contracting process of public bodies for one year.
Omni has been blacklisted for one year on the recommendation of the Department of Health Services, according to Public Procurement Monitoring Office.
Despite widespread criticism that government had acted in accordance with the agreement on the purchase of health items, there were protests against the government's failure to blacklist Omni.
