Labor approval open to send Nepali workers to employed destinations

The government has decided not to operate inter-district and long-distance transport till September 17.

In a press conference held at Singha Durbar on Monday to make the cabinet meeting public, government spokesperson Dr.Yuvaraj Khatiwada informed that he has decided not to operate the vehicle till September 17.

Spokesperson Khatiwada said that it has been decided not to operate inter-district and long-distance means of transportation from September 1 till September 17 as the risk of corona remains.

Similarly, it has been decided to suspend the operation of domestic flights till September 17.

The meeting has decided to open labor permit to send Nepali workers to employment destinations. According to government spokesperson Khatiwada, it has been decided to open labor permits for the agreement countries.

The cabinet meeting has also decided to increase the number of regular international flights starting from September 4.

Similarly, a committee headed by a directly elected member of parliament and a member of the National Assembly will monitor the work being done on Corona, said spokesperson Khatiwada.

Similarly, Khatiwada informed that the Council of Ministers has given approval to conduct the examination of doctor registration certificate after fulfilling the health security criteria.

The meeting has allowed the import of corn and pepper stopped at the Sirsia dry port in Birgunj. Similarly, the government has allowed 15 Bahrainis and three British nationals, including the Prince of Bahrain, to come to Nepal on a charter flight after September 15, 2020.
