Govt directs not to conduct PCR test of deceased people

The government has instructed not to test the corona by removing the swab from the body of the deceased.

Speaking at a regular media briefing on Wednesday, Health and Population Ministry spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said it was decided not to test the corona of the deceased.

Informing that the meeting of the Ministry's Incident Command System has decided not to test the corona after the death of the suspect, spokesperson Gautam said that health precautions should be taken while managing the body and those who come in contact should stay in quarantine for 14 days.

Earlier, after the death of a person with symptoms similar to corona virus infection, swabs were collected and tested. Spokesperson Gautam also informed that the directive in this regard may being revised.
