Dr. Sanduk Ruit Awarded ‘Suprashiddha Prabal Janasewa Shree Pratham’

On the occasion of Constitution Day, the government has awarded 77 health workers with various honorary titles.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has conferred this title on the people who have made outstanding contributions in various fields and have been making significant contributions in the field of health.

Dr. Sanduk Ruit, Executive Director of Tilganga Eye Foundation, has received the ‘Suprashiddha Janasewa Pratham’ medal for his  well-known strong public service.

Like every year, this year too, on the occasion of the Constitution Day, 77 people working in the health sector including doctors, health workers, technicians and nurses have been awarded various medals.

Prof. Dr. Premraj Gyawali, Executive Director of Martyr Dharmabhakta National Transplant Center, Dr. Gunraj Awasthi, Regional Director, Directorate of Health, Far West, Dr. Anup Bastola, Chief Consultant, Tropical Medicine, Dr. Mesu Narayani Hospital, Virganj Upadhyaya and 13 other doctors have been awarded..

Similarly, Dr. Josh Vandellier, Nepal Representative of the World Health Organization and Dr. Roshan Kumar Jha of Nepal APF Hospital have been awarded the prestigious ‘Rashtradeep (IV)’.

Similarly, 52 people including Dr. Sudip Shrestha, Chairman of Nepal Cancer Hospital, Senior Health Administrator and Dr. Narendra Kumar Jha, Chief of Health Office Kavre has been decorated by ‘Janasewa Shree IV’.
