A curfew has been imposed in Lalitpur on Friday i.e today due to a dispute between the locals and the administration over the pulling of Rato Machhindranath's chariot.
The District Administration Office has decided to impose curfew in the ring road area of Lalitpur from 4 am to 10 pm.
A clash ensued when the chariot was pulled in defiance of the ban. Administration has stated that curfew has been imposed today to prevent the situation from becoming tense.
