Corona has been confirmed in another 1,120 people in Nepal on Wednesday.
According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, corona has been confirmed in 1,120 people including 800 men and 320 women during the tests conducted in different parts of the country.
On Wednesday, 350 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur and nine in Bhaktapur. Along with this, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 41,649.
A total of 1,112 people have been discharged on Wednesday while 23,290 people have been discharged so far, said spokesperson Gautam.
Another 12 people have died due to corona. The deceased have been identified as 55 and 18-year-old women of Chitwan, 89-year-old woman of Kathmandu, 70-year-old woman of Lalitpur, 20-year-old woman of Tanahu and 60-year-old woman of Kapilvastu.
Similarly, a 57-year-old man from Bara, a 65-year-old man from Chitwan, a 40-year-old man from Bhaktapur, a 70- and 75-year-old man from Kathmandu and a 47-year-old man from Dhading died, said Health Ministry spokesperson Gautam.
At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Nepal has reached 251. At present, there are 67,66 people in quarantine, according to the Ministry of Health.
