Corona confirmed in 1069 people, 393 infected in Kathmandu, 11 killed

 

Corona has been confirmed in 1069 more people in Nepal on Tuesday.

During the tests conducted in different parts of the country, 344 women and 725 men and 1069 people were found to have corona, informed Jageshwar Gautam. Among those infected, 393 from Kathmandu, 58 from Lalitpur and 30 from Bhaktapur have been added.

At the same time, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 40,529, said spokesperson Gautam. A further 768 people have been discharged on Tuesday and 22,178 have been discharged so far.

Another 11 people have died due to corona. According to Dr Gautam, the deceased has been identified as a 4-year-old girl from Mahottari.

Similarly, a 37-year-old man from Mahottari, a 65-year-old man from Siraha, three men aged 53, 80 and 60 from Parsa, a 60-year-old man from Bara, a 52-year-old man from Chitwan, two men aged 70 and 35 from Kathmandu and a 58-year-old man from Makwanpur died, said spokesperson Gautam.

At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona in Nepal has reached 239. Currently, there are 18,112 active infected people and 7,390 in quarantine.
