Corona has been confirmed in 1039 more people in Nepal on Sunday.
During the tests conducted in different parts of the country, corona was confirmed in 1059 people including 365 women and 674 men. Corona has been confirmed in 597 more people in Kathmandu on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health, corona has been confirmed in 173 women and 305 men in Kathmandu , 483 in Bhaktapur 81 in 22 women and 59 men and 33 in Lalitpur in 16 women and 17 men.
Along with this, number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 54,159. Similarly, nine more people have died due to corona and so far 345 people have lost their lives due to corona.
Currently, number of active infected people is 15,117. A total of 1,173 people have been discharged on Sunday while 38,697 have been discharged so far, said Health Ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam.
At present there are 6536 persons in quarantine, 7387 persons in home isolation and 7730 persons in institutional isolation. So far, 840,527 corona have been tested, according to the ministry.
