Budget released for Temporary Covid-19 Hospitals in 649 local levels

The government has written to all the local levels to make a five-bed temporary hospital for the treatment of Covid-19 infected patients.

The budget has also been sent to build a temporary hospital for at least three months at the local level where there is no hospital.

A meeting of the Corona Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund Steering Committee held on Sunday sent a budget to build a hospital at the local level where there is no hospital.

The government has sent Rs. 649 million from the Corona Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund for the construction of a temporary hospital.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the fund has sent a budget for the construction of 649 local level hospitals which have not received the services of any government hospital.

119 local levels  in Province 1, 123 in Province 2, 103 in Bagmati, 70 in Gandaki, 92 in Province 5, 66 in Karnali and 76 in Far Western Province don’t have hospitals.

A budget of Rs. 10 lakh each has been released for the construction of temporary hospitals at all the local levels.
