Allegation to the government has not been able to do even the minimum work for the people

Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has accused government of failing to do even minimum work for the people during Corona epidemic.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday on the occasion of Ganeshman Singh's 23rd Memorial Day, Prakash Man Singh accused government of remaining silent despite growing problems of the people during Corona epidemic.

Singh also accused government for being involved in corruption. Singh said local government was having trouble working because nearly two-thirds of the government did not enact federal laws in the spirit of the constitution.

Singh also said that government's focus was on centralization even after country went into federalism, adding that government had gone against the spirit and letter of the constitution.

Singh also said that Nepali politics should be inspired by Ganeshman Singh to do politics of principles and ideals.

Leader Singh said that people's movement of 1946 BS under the leadership of esteemed leader Singh was based on working unity rather than unity.

Ganeshman Singh, founding leader of Nepali Congress, known as the supreme commander of people's movement and the pinnacle of Nepali politics, had passed away on September 20, 2006.
