Agreement on RPP's election symbol and flag

The election symbol of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will be halo and the flag will be inscribed with cow.

A joint meeting of the executive committee held in Dhumbarahi on Tuesday reached an agreement on the election symbol and flag. On 24 February 2076, Kamal Thapa, Pashupati Shamsher Rana and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani announced the party unification.

Despite the unification of the parties, no agreement could be reached on the election symbol. A meeting of the executive committee was held to decide on the election symbol. Halo is the symbol used by the former RPP United.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to hold the party's unity general convention from April 9 to 10. Stating that the local level election is approaching, RPP Chairman Kamal Thapa informed that the general convention will be held on time.

Concluding the meeting, chairman Thapa said that religion and culture have been eroded in the country and external power has increased. Stating that the only alternative to Congress and Communists is RPP, Thapa said that RPP will now move forward untidily.

Similarly, another RPP chairperson Pashupati Shamsher Rana said that the party should work together to make it strong. Rana said that he would move forward with the determination to envision modern Nepal while preserving the religion and culture of the country.

Similarly, Chairman Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani said that RPP would now be a strong force in the country. The general convention of RPP was held in February, 2073 BS. Expressing dissatisfaction at the General Convention, the party's leader Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani left RPP and formed a unified RPP. But three years later, the three leaders decided to come together.
