According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Population on Asoj 3, the total number of corona infections in the country has reached 62,797.
Of these, 1,204 corona infections have been added in the last 24 hours, according to data from Saturday.
According to the Ministry of Health, 45,267 people have recovered from Corona so far. However, 17,129 people are still actively infected in the country.
According to the provincial statistics, the number of people recovering from the corona infection is higher in all the seven provinces as of Asoj 3. Out of 17,129 patients, the number of active corona infections is more than 500 in nine districts.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are more than 500 active infected people in nine districts including Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Rupandehi, Siraha, Morang and Sunsari.
Similarly, Solukhumbu, Rasuwa, Mustang, Myagdi, Mugu, Dolpa and Humla have zero active infection in Corona. The total number of active corona infections in the country was 14,925 as of Bhadra 26.
Of these, the number of active corona infections was more than 500 in five districts including Kathmandu, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Sarlahi and Sunsari.
Chief Consultant of Teku's Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, Dr. Anup Bastola says the fact that the number of active infected people in nine districts has exceeded 500 indicates that the virus is spreading in the community.
