Corona infection has been confirmed in 42 people of Chaudhary Group (CG Foods). Infection has been confirmed in 42 members of the Chaudhary group operating in Basgadhi.
According to the Health Office, Bardiya, corona infection was confirmed in 42 people of the industry on Sunday. Out of them, 29 are men and 13 are women. The PCR tests conducted at the Corona Laboratory of Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj on Sunday confirmed the infection.
Of those confirmed infected, 34 are from Basgadhi and 4 from Badaiyatal, while the other four are from different districts, according to the health office.
Earlier on Thursday, Chaudhary Group's noodle industry was sealed after a corona infection was found in its workers. A female worker was found to have corona and 224 people were subjected to contact tracing.
Corona is seen in 42 of them. Also on Sunday, swabs of 150 other people in contact tracing have been collected. At the same time, the total number of infected people in Bardiya has reached 407.
