Vaccination service regular from Baishakh

Chief of the Child Health and Vaccination Branch, Dr. Jhalak Gautam, said that the vaccination service has been regular since Baishakh.

Speaking at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Jhalak Gautam said that the vaccination service was launched after the vaccination service was affected in the first phase of the lockdown.

Dr. Gautam, Chief of the Child Health and Vaccination Branch said that he has been providing regular services to the vaccination workers by arranging masks and sanitizers since April.

Dr. Jhalak Gautam also said that the measles and rubella vaccination campaign, which was postponed due to lockdown, has been resumed in the case of corona infection.

Dr. Gautam also said that more than 2.591 million children have been vaccinated against measles and rubella during the measles and rubella vaccination campaign. Dr Gautam said that 1.637 million children were also vaccinated against polio during the strike.

Dr. Jhalak Gautam said that about 620,000 children are vaccinated against Rotavirus and polio every year and six vaccines are given through injection.
