Restrictions imposed in Khalanga of Jajarkot after army, police, and civil servants infected with Covid-19

Restrictions are in place in Khalanga, the district headquarters of Jajarkot, after 19 people were found infected with the coronavirus on the same day.

The decision of the meeting of the Committee for Crisis and Security of Covid-1 has decided to impose restrictions in 3 and 4 wards of Bheri Municipality from last night until midnight of Bhadra 15.

According to the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 and the Local Administration Act, 2028, the prohibition has been put in place, said Assistant Chief Officer Sahni.

A test conducted at Chaurajahari Laboratory has confirmed corona infection in 19 people of Jajarkot yesterday.

There are one staff member each from the women's branch, law branch and health branch of Bheri Municipality in case of corona infection being confirmed.

Similarly, a constable working at Matela police post, a constable working in the administration branch of the district police office and a police personnel who were transferred from the riot control battalion to Jajarkot a few days ago have also been confirmed to have corona infection.

Similarly, an employee of a commercial bank and an officer of the Nepal Army have also been confirmed to have corona infection. According to the Health Office, Jajarkot, 19 out of 20 samples sent confirmed the infection.
