The Nepalgunj area has been completely sealed since Saturday night after corona infection was seen at the community level in Banke.
Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang informed that the restraining order was being issued till Tuesday night.
The Nepal Army has provided security in the sealed area. All vehicles except those belonging to health, security, ambulances, fire engines will not be allowed to operate. Opening of shops and walking have been completely banned in the sealed area till 12 noon on Tuesday.
Excluding Surkhet Road from Nepalgunj, the area from Pushpalal Chowk to Ganeshman Chowk, from Ganeshman Chowk to Charbahini Chowk, from Pipal Chautara to Banke village, from Banke village to Ring Road, from Army Barracks to Naharpur Chowk, from Naharpurwa Chowk to Bus Park Road is sealed.
According to the District Administration Office, Banke, action will be taken against those who disobey or disobey the decision or obstruct the work as per the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 BS and Local Administration Act, 2028 BS.
