The District Administration Office, Parsa, has issued an indefinite injunction with effect from Monday.
Lalit Kumar Basnet, Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa, said that the ban has been issued as the number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) infection has been increasing in the district recently.
He said an indefinite injunction had been issued in Parsa because of the increased risk of corona.
According to the decision of the district security committee meeting on Saturday, the restraining order has been issued from 5 am on Monday until further notice.
He said that no one has been asked to go out of the house except for medical treatment and urgent work during the ban period.
Earlier, a restraining order was issued from Shrawan 10 until further notice that went into effect for Birgunj Municipality only.
