Congress Nawalparasi vice president dies from COVID-19

 

Nepali Congress Nawalparasi District vice president Subash Chandra Giri has died after being infected with the corona virus. Giri, 38, of Susta West, Mawalparasi, died at patan hospital, Lalitpur this morning.

Giri, who was admitted to Patan Hospital from Butwal’s Corona Hospital on July 12 after being diagnosed with corona infection, have been undergoing treatment with the help of a ventilator.

Giri had recently undergone gallstone surgery at Universal Medical College, Bhairahawa. He was later diagnosed with respiratory problems and re-examined at a medical college with Pneumonia.

Giri was admitted to Corona Hospital in Butwal for one day and taken to Patan Hospital for further treatment. He was the leader of  Forum Loktantrik and became the Vice President of  Nepali Congress after  unification with the Nepali Congress.
