Portugal, the defending champions of the UEFA Nations League, have announced Christiano Ronaldo as their captain. Portugal on Monday announced a 25-man squad for the games against Croatia and Sweden.
Portugal have seven forwards in two games. The forwards are Cristiano Ronaldo, Andre Silva, Bernardo Silva, Diego Jota, Gonzalo Guides, Joao Felix and Trincomalee.
Midfielders include Bruno Fernandez, Danilo Pereira, Andre Gomez, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Renato Sanchez and Sergio Oliveira.
Defenders for the Portugal squad are Pepe, Joao Cancello, Nelson Semido, Domingos Duarte, Jose Fonte, Ruben Dias, Mario Rui and Rafael Guerrero.
Goalkeepers are Anthony Lopez, Rui Patricio and Rui Silva. Portugal will play their first match against Croatia on September 6. It will face Sweden on September 9.
