Corona infection has been confirmed in 1221 more people in Nepal on Sunday.
During the tests conducted in different parts of the country, 348 women and 873 men and an additional 1221 people were confirmed as corona, said Ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam.
Corona has been confirmed in 429 more people in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday. Currently, the number of active infected people is 17,518. On Sunday, 267 people were discharged and so far 20,822 people have recovered and been discharged.
Similarly, 14 more people have died in Nepal. According to ministry spokesperson Gautam, one woman each died in Sunsari, Bara, Mahottari and Kathmandu. Similarly, two men each from Mahottari and Rupandehi have died.
Similarly, one man each from Sunsari, Morang, Rautahat, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Nawalparasi died, said spokesperson Gautam.
At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona has reached 221 in Nepal. Currently, there are 7797 people in quarantine. There are 10,612 in institutional isolation and 6,906 in home isolation, according to the ministry.
