The infection of corona virus has been confirmed after the death of a 109-year-old woman of Khairhani Municipality-3. The old woman died on Monday night at 12:45 a.m.
The swab of the old woman, who had fallen ill a few days ago, was collected on Monday and sent to Bharatpur Covid Lab for examination. Information Officer of Bharatpur Hospital Liladhar Poudel informed that the corona infection was confirmed during the test.
Earlier, one person from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 and one person from Kailali had died of corona infection in Chitwan.
