Sajha Yatayat has resumed its services in 8 routes within the valley from today. 26 buses will be running in the first phase.
Bhusan Tuladhar, the executive director of Sajha Yatayat said, "We have run the bus by fulfilling the criteria set by the government,". He added, "We have started running the bus after completing the maintenance and other technical preparations."
Sajha has said that all necessary precautions will be taken in the bus. It’s drivers and helpers would be wearing masks and gloves. Similarly, it has requested the passengers to maintain the social distance as instructed by the government.
The buses are also to be regularly disinfected and will carry sanitizers and other necessary health items.
At this stage the buses will only be operating within the valley. This decision of Sajha Yatayat comes after the government’s decision to allow the operation of public vehicles within the district by adopting necessary health precautions.
