Landslide has hit Narayangadh-Muglin road section again. The Narayangarh-Muglin road has been blocked due to landslides with large rocks. The landslide occurred at around 8:45 last night. The one-way road was reopened at 4:30 pm on Tuesday after the Charkilo landslide was cleared after 36 hours.
A landslide has fallen at Batasedanda near Pandharkilo in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29. According to Krishna Raj Adhikari, chief engineer of the Division Roads Office, Bharatpur, the landslide occurred again within a few hours of the road being made one-sided.
Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai and other security chiefs of the district were trapped in the landslide. After monitoring the road, they left the vehicle and returned using an alternative route.
The official said that it was not possible to say how long it would take to remove the landslide due to the nature of the landslide. Landslide removal work will begin shortly.
