Government change unacceptable

Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, a member of the Standing Committee of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-M), has made it clear that a change of government is not acceptable now.

Rayamajhi also said that there was no alternative for the top leaders to reach a consensus to resolve the disputes within the party. Speaking in an interview organized by Reporters Club Nepal on Sunday, Rayamajhi asked how the dispute within the CPN (Maoist) is resolved.

Rayamajhi also said that all the Nepali people, CPN (Maoist) leaders and cadres are watching with interest and concern. Top Bahadur Rayamajhi clarified that the current internal disputes within the party are more focused on power-sharing than policy, ideas and development and prosperity agenda.

After a long time, Rayamajhi said that the Nepali people had sent a two-thirds majority to the CPN (Maoist) government to maintain political stability in the country and advance the agenda of development and prosperity.

Stating that the country is currently fighting against the Corona pandemic and the entire nation is united in the border dispute, Rayamajhi remarked that it is sad to focus the debate and discussion on other issues at such a time.
