Decision to remove obstruction by force

An all-party meeting in Kapilvastu has decided to remove the obstruction by using force.mOf the 700 houses to be removed in five sections, about 600 are in the Kapilvastu municipality area.

Within a few days of the construction of the postal highway project being contracted through the office, the houses in Toulihawa, Maharajganj, Bahadurganj and other areas had to be removed.

The work was halted after such a problem appeared in Falgun. A total of Rs 3.46 billion has been agreed for the construction of five road sections and four major bridges under the postal road. A deadline has been set to complete all the works within 2079 BS.

After drawing the attention of the Postal Highway Project, the District Administration Office Kapilvastu Chief District Officer Dirghanarayan Poudel in association with federal and state MPs, district heads of political parties had the meeting which unanimously decided to remove the obstruction in accordance with the policy of administrative intervention wherever there is obstruction.

Construction of Toulihawa-Rajpur road, Rajpur-Bahadurganj-Dattapur road, Dattapur-Turantapur, Kharendrapur-Shitlapur-Bhilmi and Jitpur-Toulihawa roads has been started under the postal project.
