Corona infection has been confirmed in 116 people including two in Kathmandu on Tuesday. At a regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry spokesperson Prada Jageshwor Gautam said that 116 people have been confirmed as corona infected, including two in Kathmandu.
Spokesperson Gautam said that the corona was confirmed in two people from Kathmandu, one each in the tests conducted at Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, Teku and Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
At the same time, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 17,061. Similarly, only 34 people have recovered and been discharged after treatment in the last 24 hours.
Till today, 10 thousand 328 corona discharges have been cured, said spokesperson Gautam.
A sample of 4,361 people was tested today. Spokesperson Gautam informed that there are currently 24,716 quarantine personnel in Nepal.
