Barcelona has won against Villareal in the Spanish La-Liga. In the game last night, Barcelona defeated Villareal with a wide margin of 4-1.
Louis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati scored each for Barcelona whereas the fourth goal came as a self=goal from Villareal’s Pau Torez. Gerrard Moreno scored the only goal for Villareal.
Messi has broken his own record of goal assists with a total of 19 assists in this season. His earlier record was in the 2014-15 season. This is the highest assist by any player in the Spanish La Liga.
Barcelona have reduced their score gap with Real Madrid, which is at the top, to 4. Real Madrid is at the top with 77 points and Barcelona second with 73 points after a total of 34 games each.
Barcelona is playing against Espanyol on Wednesday.
