Further 70 people have been infected with the corona virus in Nepal and three have died.
According to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, 70 more people tested positive for the corona virus. With the addition of 70, the number of infected people in Nepal has reached 16,719.
Similarly, two died in Kathmandu and one in Sindhupalchowk due to corona. According to Gautam, two died at Patan Hospital in Lalitpur and one at KMC Hospital in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
A 60-year-old man from Shankhamul of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, a 54-year-old man from Gokarneshwor Municipality-4 of Kathmandu and a 45-year-old man from Sindhupalchowk died of corona, said spokesperson Gautam.
Of those infected, 38 died, the ministry said. On Saturday, 431 people have been discharged after treatment. Including this, the number of discharges has reached 8442.
