Youths protesting against MCC Arrests
Police have arrested youths protesting against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement not being approved by parliament.
Police arrested them while they were protesting at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu. The youths have been protesting with loud slogans demanding the abolition of MCC.
During the arrest, they also chanted anti-government slogans saying the MCC was not in the interest of the nation. Protests are taking place in the House and on the streets, saying the MCC agreement is treasonous and should not be passed.
