Social distancing with sized 75 elongated shoes
Change in fashion statements because of covid-19. Grigore Lup, a shoemaker from Romania created a shoe which can remind people to maintain proper physical distance by extended long toe sized 75.
Grigore Lup, has been designing and making leather shoes for almost 40 years for theatres and opera houses. The custom orders mostly comes from theatres and opera houses which was a good earning for his living but after corona virus pandemic his earning was stopped with cancellations of shows, live performances and closing of opera houses.
The restrictions is slowly lifting down with ease across Europe, Lup found that people were not practicing social distancing in public spaces and market which evoked the idea for the long shoe sized 75.
“If two people wearing these shoes were facing each other, there would be almost one-and-a-half meters (nearly 5 feet) between them,” says Lup.
With the idea of shoe sized 75 he wants to promote the idea the need of proper physical distance. He’s already getting orders for long customized shoes. You can order one for you too!
