Regular monitoring of quarantine improvements

The government has decided to improve the quarantine nationwide and monitor it regularly.

After commenting on the quarantine situation, the Covid 19 Crisis Management Committee (CCMC) has decided to improve the quarantine situation and the state government has decided to monitor and facilitate it regularly.

The CCMC meeting held in Singha Durbar on Friday also decided to complete the corona test of the quarantined persons within two weeks. Likewise, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Gyawali informed that the government has decided to urge the state government to manage quarantine across the country as the number of corona infections is increasing.

The meeting also decided to increase the capacity of PCR testing. Similarly, the Ministry of Labor has been given the responsibility to rescue the Nepali workers living abroad if the country and the company concerned do not pay for the repatriation of Nepali workers abroad. Similarly, it has been decided to hand over the responsibility of body management from abroad to the Ministry of Labor, Gyawali told.

The meeting directed the Ministry of Health to make arrangements for health check-up and treatment of Nepali citizens at risk of corona infection, while the state government has been given the authority to seal the concerned town or municipality considering the risk of infection, said Minister Gyawali. He said that CCMC should be informed for this.

Similarly, the meeting has decided that the citizens who have come to Nepal on leave from foreign employment and are going abroad for new employment can be sent on the recommendation of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education.

Similarly, it has been decided to provide Rs. 350 million from the central fund to the concerned municipality through the state government for the construction of new quarantine.
