Nepalese art in new era amid covid-19

Rajan Sakya tourism entrepreneur and art-enthusiast hosted online art exhibition from museum at Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel.

It was first time ever in Nepal, comprising a 360° virtual tour for the art exhibition from Kathmandu Guest House garden with beautiful paintings hung in various corners made by various artists.

Sakya says that this exhibition cum a 360° virtual tour is the one of the first exhibition in entire South Asia and therefore indicates the beginning of a new era in the Nepalese fine art.

The exhibition featured 19 paintings by 19 Nepali artists, and the exhibits included two Mithila artworks. From the website ‘Nepali art in Lockdown 2020’, has been featuring different artists every day gaining beautiful positive responses from the audience too.

With this many artists are able to showcase their artwork and spread positivity and love through online medium in this pandemic where every individual is trying to cope from covid-stress.

The online medium has opened a great door for all the people around globe amid lockdown.
