Congress draws attention of PM Oli

The main opposition party Nepali Congress has handed over a letter to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli saying that the government has failed to prevent corona.

A delegation led by senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand, Joint General Minister Dr Prakasharan Mahat, former vice-president Gopalman Shrestha and central member Ramesh Lekhak reached Baluwatar on Wednesday and handed over a letter to Prime Minister Oli.

Central Member Ramesh Lekhak informed that the Prime Minister has been drawn to the issues to be addressed by the government to control the pandemic of Covid 19.

He informed that the work to be done by the government for controlling the pandemic of Covid 19 and minimizing the short-term and long-term negative effects were also drawn attention.

The government has not been able to provide the necessary kits to the health workers and security personnel even after 79 days of the corona infection in Nepal.

He also requested for proper management of the isolation center and proper management of relief, assistance to the farmers, provision of necessary employment and provision of proper financial package to the entrepreneurs.

Understanding the letter, Prime Minister Oli assured that he would take his suggestion seriously, he said.
