Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal has claimed that the scope of PCR testing will be increased by 10,000 per day till July 30.
Speaking to media persons at the Ministry of Health on Saturday, he said that 10,000 tests would be conducted with the help of the private sector. Minister Dhakal also said that up to 1,000 tests would be conducted every day in each state.
He said that all the necessary tests were done without access to the corona test. He said that as the corona infection was on the rise, only patients with no symptoms were being isolated and only critically ill patients were being kept in the hospital.
He says the state has made all preparations to fight the corona infection. Minister Dhakal said that the process of bringing necessary materials for corona control was still going on and clarified that there was no irregularity in the procurement of health items.
Minister Dhakal also said that there was some delay in the entry of many people from India at once.
