Demonstration of Janata Samajwadi Party demanding strict action against the perpetrators of Rukum incident
Janata Samajwadi Party (RSP) has staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on Wednesday demanding action against the perpetrators of the incident in Chaurjahari Municipality-8, Rukum.
The party has staged a protest at Maitighar in Kathmandu demanding strict action against the culprit who fell into the Bheri River after being chased by a Dalit youth from Bheri Municipality-4 of Jajarkot in Chaurjahari Municipality-8 of Rukum.
Socialist groups like Tamuwan, Kirat, Sherpa and Tamsaling Khasan Tharuhat participated in the demonstration.They also staged a sit-in demanding immediate action against the ethnic genocide perpetrators of the Rukum incident. They also chanted slogans saying that heinous crimes should not be covered up under political cover.
The deceased have been identified as Nawaraj Bik of Bheri Municipality-4, Ganesh Budha Magar and Tikaram Sunar of Chaurajahari Municipality-1, Govind Shahi of Bheri Municipality-11, Lokendra Sunar and Sandeep Bik of Bheri Municipality-4.
The government has also formed an investigation committee to investigate the incident.
