26 Nepalese stranded in Myanmar rescued
Twenty-six Nepalese stranded in Myanmar returned home on Friday after the government started rescuing Nepali nationals from abroad.
Twenty-six Nepalese stranded in Myanmar returned home on Friday after the government banned lockdown and international flights to prevent and control the corona virus. They were brought to Kathmandu by a Myanmar Air Force plane from Myanmar on Friday morning.
Among those returning from Myanmar are 17 from Bagmati, 4/4 from Gandaki and Province 1 and one from Province 5.They are housed in a holding center set up at the Yeti Party Palace in Basundharasthi.
After checking their health at the airport, the army brought them to the holding center in a vehicle. It is said that the rescued people will be managed in coordination with the Covid 19 Crisis Management Center set up by the government for the prevention, control and response of the Corona pandemic.
