The main opposition Nepali Congress has concluded that the policies and programs brought by the government are traditional and should be amended.

A meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party held at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor on Saturday concluded that the policies and programs brought by the Government of Nepal should be amended saying that they are not traditional and address the challenges of Nepal.

After the meeting, Bal Krishna Khan, chief whip of the Congress parliamentary party, said that the government's policies and programs have not been able to address the country's problems.

The meeting also demanded cash relief for the people living below the poverty line. He said that the government has not been able to bring relief package for the treatment of the people.

Similarly, the meeting has also drawn the attention of the government to bring immediate relief to the Nepalese stranded abroad.

It has been concluded that Nepalese living abroad should be brought to Nepal as soon as possible by fulfilling the criteria and arranging necessary quarantine and health treatment in Nepal.
