The government aims to declare Nepal a literate nation within the next fiscal year.
Addressing the Parliament on the policies and programs of the government, President Vidya Bhandari said, “Nepal is being made a fully literate nation in the coming fiscal year.”
Likewise, the government aims to make every youth patriotic, hopeful, confident and creative through education, said President Bhandari.
The government is going to focus on education to produce thematic manpower.
It is also mentioned that the government will change the curriculum of the university in a timely manner next year.
Similarly, the government claims to strengthen the university's research program.
President Bhandari said that it would be the policy of the government to enroll students of all school age groups and emphasize on sustaining them in the class.
It is mentioned in the government's policy and program that a strategy will be taken to make science subjects interesting at the school level.
