In Nepal, 19 more people have been infected with corona
The Ministry of Health on Sunday said that 19 more people were infected with coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected people in Nepal to 603.Of those infected, 524 were men and 79 were women. After the addition of new district Nuwakot on Sunday, 42 districts across Nepal have been found infected.
The newly infected people are from Bara, Parsa and Rupandehi. Of those infected, 87 have recovered and returned home.
At a press conference organized by the ministry, the spokesperson of the ministry Dr.Vikas Devkota informed that samples of 48,815 people have been tested using PCR method so far.
Similarly, more than 90,000 RDT methods have been tested. Spokesperson Devkota also informed that more than 39,000 people are in quarantine. The ministry said 513 of those currently in isolation were infected.
