Jaspa registered the complaint
District Government Attorney's Office, Kathmandu, MP Dr. Surendra Yadav has registered a petition regarding the abduction.
Janata Samajwadi Party MP Dr. Yadav has filed a petition against MPs Mahesh Basnet and Kisan Shrestha and former IGP Sarvendra Khanal alleging that he was abducted.
Earlier, the public prosecutor's office had not filed a complaint saying that some time was needed for the study.
Hari Prasad Regmi, co-counsel of the government prosecutor's office, on Monday asked Dr. Yadav's He said that complaint has been registered.
He said that he was registered at the government prosecutor's office as per the law after the police refused to file a complaint. Complaints registered in the Public Prosecutor's Office will be forwarded to the police for necessary action as per the legal provision.
Article 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 074 provides that if a complaint or information is not registered by the police, a complaint can be lodged with the public prosecutor's office.
After receiving the complaint, the concerned public prosecutor's office has to keep the records and send the complaint or information to the concerned police office for necessary action.
